Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to delegate registrations for the Bharat Ethanol Forum 2026, organised by Tefla's. Online payments are processed securely through Razorpay; any approved refund is returned to your original payment method via Razorpay.
2. Delegate cancellation charges
Cancellation requests must be made in writing to our team. Refunds, where applicable, are calculated on the amount paid (excluding GST and non-refundable payment-gateway charges) as follows: cancellations received 45 or more days before the Event — full refund less a 10% administration fee; 15 to 44 days before — 50% refund; fewer than 15 days before the Event, or non-attendance ('no-show') — no refund.
3. How to request a refund
To request a cancellation or refund, email events@teflas.com from your registered email address with your full name, organisation and payment/transaction reference. We will acknowledge your request and confirm the eligible refund amount.
4. Refund method & timeline
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 5–7 business days and may take a further 5–7 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Substitutions & name changes
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to a colleague from the same organisation at no extra cost, provided you notify us in writing before the Event. Substitutions are encouraged as an alternative to cancellation.
6. Postponement or cancellation by the Organiser
If the Event is postponed or rescheduled (including for reasons of Force Majeure), valid registrations will be carried over to the new dates. If the Organiser cancels the Event outright and it is not rescheduled, delegates will be offered a refund of the registration fee paid (excluding payment-gateway charges). The Organiser is not responsible for travel, visa or accommodation costs.
7. Sponsorship & exhibition payments
Payments for sponsorship packages and exhibition stalls are governed by the separate signed agreement with the Organiser and are generally non-refundable, as space and deliverables are committed on confirmation. The terms of that agreement prevail for sponsors and exhibitors.
